The frame, made from solid Mindi, or White Cedar wood, is a fast-growing, naturally decay-resistant option that yields a durable and long-lasting alternative to other more over-farmed and forested wood species.

The foam inside the cushions which is typically a plastic-based Polyurethane was replaced with petroleum-free, bio-based soy foam.

The decorative canning on the back of the back rest as well as the seat is 100% natural flat profile rattan which not only maintains the goal of all natural materials for the composition of this chair, but also maintains the comfort of the seating experience due its flexibility.

And finally, the textile, whilst a casual linen-look was desired we were able to use an up-cycled linen upholstery reducing the amount of virgin materials used to produce this chair design.
